Hiking the Great Smoky Mountains
The most-visited national park in the country is on our doorstep. Trails range from easy riverside strolls to ridgeline climbs with long blue-mountain views. We keep a trail sheet at the clubhouse with current conditions.
Waterfalls
The Smokies are full of them - short walks to roaring falls, perfect for a morning before the fire pit calls you back. Ask at check-in for the closest ones to camp.
Mountain towns
Small North Carolina gateway towns near the park mix pancake houses, makers’ shops, and live music - we’ll point you to our favorite local spots at check-in.
Family-friendly day trips
Tubing on cool mountain rivers, scenic drives, and easy nature walks make the area a good base for families and groups. Group camping across a couple of our Airstreams works well for reunions.
Slow days at camp
Some of the best days never leave the neighborhood: coffee at sunrise, a book in the shade of a polished Airstream, and the communal fire after dark.
